Support project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle during design, build, test, piloting, migration, and implementation of network solutions.
Work with the Infrastructure Technical Delivery team to ensure network solution building blocks are correctly identified across the portfolio and delivered exactly once.
Create architectural deliverables for global and regional projects and programmes.
Deliver detailed documentation of test cases, for the validation of new network technology onto the enterprise network.
Execute test cases, validate and document all results. Prepare and present executive and technologist level analysis of the results.
Deliver low-level design for technology change into the Technical Design Authority.
Where required, being actively involved with the implementation activities, including problem-solving and root cause analysis in the live environment.
Analysis of Application Network usage, bandwidth trends, network performance, analysis of the new solution with other technical teams, including vendor(s) where appropriate.
Leading the design, development, and implementation of new & updated IT Networks to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment to the architectural road map and IT strategy.

Perfil Buscado (H/M/D)

Minimum of 10 years' experience in an Infrastructure and project delivery environment; in network engineering and design roles.
Solid understanding of core Network/Cisco technologies like LAN/WAN, subnets, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VLANs, and VPN using Cisco switches and routers, from a design perspective. The design/engineering experience is vital.
Global Enterprise WAN design/deployment role(s) using global service provider IPVPN, internet DMVPN and SDWAN.
Broad experience of other network technologies: security (firewall, cloud security, intrusion detection and behaviour anomaly), campus LAN and Wi-Fi, Virtualisation (on-prem and cloud).
Very strong BGP and QoS
Enterprise and open-source network monitoring tools – e.g. SolarWinds, PRTG, Cacti.
6+ years' in a technical networking position, including design experience.
Experience of successfully designing and delivering IT solutions.
Strong networking implementation experience, including solution design within complex enterprise architectures.
Strong understanding of network and wider Infrastructure architectures.
Solid understanding of current emerging technology trends.
